In short, the Gospel or “The Good News” is the personal life and work of Jesus Christ, but also the divine intervention of God through Jesus to save humanity from eternal damnation. The Gospel challenges our faith, logic, intellect, pride, and tethering to our finite understanding of the world around us. The Gospel is so simplistic, but we make it complex. We water down the Gospel to fill church seats, thinking that a coffee bar, cookies, and a fog machine is going to provide air cover for Jesus to be introduced in a non-offensive way, but in truth, the Gospel is the ONLY thing that saves. No human, organization, pastor, concert, or experience will ever save another human. It is a supernaturally divine work by God.

With that said, please enjoy and revel in the gloriously good news of The Gospel.

God, the sovereign creator of the universe, sent His son to earth. He was born of Mary in a virgin birth, and His name was Jesus.

Jesus, fully God and fully man, lived a perfect life, and at the age of 33, He was crucified on a cross, taking on the full wrath of God, and becoming a substitution (propitiation, penal substitutionary atonement) for our inherently sinful nature.

On the 3rd day after his crucifixion, Jesus rose from the dead, conquering death, and confirming him as the Son of God. He later ascended to Heaven to be seated at the right hand of His Father, God.

Because of this act of love, we can be saved from the wrath of God, spending life in Hell, and separated from Him eternally.

If we repent for our sins, accept the Gospel as truth, and follow Jesus, then we will be saved and live eternally in Heaven. The mind of Christ and will of God is divinely left to us in the Holy words of the Bible.

Our sins are not remembered, and we begin a new life of following Jesus and being sanctified (The process of being conformed to the image of Christ)
