Men need to teach and empower other men through the word of God. We are soldiers of change, and agents of Christ. We are teaching sons, brothers, fathers, and husbands to live righteous lifestyles, value virtue, character, and holiness instead of falling into the traps the world gives us to cope with our anxieties, stress, insecurities, and fleshly desires.
Because the fundamental foundation of which men are raised has been broken, we need solidified truth married with sound doctrinal teaching so that we may operate in this world as men of God, not slaves to the sin that binds us, but free to follow Jesus and live by his teaching in a world bent towards pulling us away.
We will not chase fleeting pleasures and trappings of materialism, we will not objectify and value the bodies of our women, we will not fall into the darkness of our anger, we will not turn to substances and pornography to numb the pain of our souls. We will engage and be accountable with Godly men, we will run to Christ when we feel alone, we will read our Bibles, disciple other men, and grow a culture of purity, integrity and holiness.
When the sun sets, we will fight and not live in the hidden places of our flesh. We will help other men to let their light shine brightly. We will raise Godly sons to find wives and not hookups. We will raise Godly daughters of purity, strength and dignity. We will not worship things of this world, we will not idolize money, we will teach, learn, and grow a generation of Godly men and women until our savior returns.
We will glorify His name, and we will live in Glory forever with our King.
We understand that this journey is not for the weak, and we are at war with forces beyond our understanding, but God is the great revealer of truth, and he will help us fight these forces with His divine word.
We will have bad days, and we will fall short, and we will sin, but as true members of the Army of God, we know that we are saved, and we will strive every day to battle sin, and die to the fleshly desires that are enemies of God. We will rise up every morning with new grace and mercy, armed with the word of God to live in our sanctification, and help others understand that it is not our strength that makes us strong in Christ, but our brokenness.
We understand that Men of God will suffer in this life, but we will suffer well, understanding that the sovereign will of God will work all things for good and that His glory is the only thing that matters in our lives.
We understand that suffering is part of God’s divine plan, and that we will rejoice in the pain as we are put through the refining process to give Him glory. We will not grumble, we will not go back to the desires of the flesh to justify our lack of understanding. We will be patient, and we will thank Him for the good and bad.
We do not seek glory. We seek humility, and understanding of who we are in Christ, as we have been given the gift of salvation, and we want others to share in that gift.
We understand that without leadership, the world is broken. We understand that men are meant to lead, and we understand that we need to be leaders of boys, girls, men, and women through the divine order of God’s word. Where the head goes, the body follows, and if Men are broken, they will break other men, women, sons, and daughters, creating a vicious cycle of broken people seeking out more broken people to fill the void only God can fill.
Men need God in order to lead other people. Christ is the perfect example of male leadership through His church and His disciples. We must look to the word for guidance. It is the ultimate blueprint for life here and beyond.
