Dear Lord,
We come before You with the understanding that apart from You, all of us are blind, wandering, and spiritually dead in our sin. The world is full of people searching for meaning, peace, identity, and love, yet turning everywhere but to You. We know that no philosophy, relationship, possession, or earthly comfort can do what only the Gospel can do.
Lord, we ask that You would open the eyes of the lost. Break through the hardness of heart that keeps people from seeing Your goodness and their need for a Savior. Remove the veil that keeps them bound to darkness, and let the truth of Jesus Christ shine clearly before them. Give them ears to hear the Gospel, hearts that are soft to conviction, and minds that are no longer satisfied with the empty promises of this world.
We also ask that You would make us faithful in how we live before them. Let our lives reflect Your truth with humility, boldness, and love. Keep us from being ashamed of the Gospel, and give us wisdom to speak when the moment comes. Remind us that salvation belongs to You, and that we are called to plant seeds, speak truth, and trust You with the work only You can do.
Please draw the lost to Yourself, Lord. Rescue them from darkness, from deception, and from the path that leads away from You. Reveal Christ to them in a way that changes everything.
In Jesus name, Amen.
